A Belle Époque diamond ribbon and bow tiara

This jewel could not be more typical of the Edwardian age and we are very attracted by its delicacy and lightness.

The fluttering ribbon bow design, the delicate garland of leaves and berries, the millegrain setting, the construction in gold and platinum, all point to a date in the early years of the 20th century.

Created at a time when wearing a tiara was de rigueur not only at court but also at formal dinners or at the opera, this jewel offers the possibility of parts being worn as a brooch or a hair ornament with the appropriate fittings.
